Acting Bio (86 words)

Daniel Genalo has performed as an actor and dancer throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia. His recent credits include 30 Rock (with Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey), Cirque du Soleil's 25th Anniversary show and theater performances at The Actor's Studio and Symphony Space. Daniel also plays major roles in several acclaimed films: FRAME (Tropfest '08), TRIPWIRE (2 awards at Diesel Film Racing) and SINGLE DROP OF YOU (Moondance '09 Award). Mr. Genalo has appeared on NBC, ABC, MTV, Current TV and the cover of Time Out NY.

Dance Bio (118 words)

Initially inspired by Motown music and Soul Train, Daniel "DanSir" Genalo first performed hip-hop and house dance in 1990. Though mostly self-taught, DanSir crafted his style from a variety of movement vocabularies, including House, Hip-Hop, Locking, Popping, Rocking, Capoeira Angola, Tap, Bebop, African, and Latin dance styles. Daniel has performed, taught, judged and won competitions throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia. Currently based in New York City, Daniel continues to dance, teach, choreograph, judge and perform the dance that has been his lifelong passion.
