Dan Dan the Glam Rock Man, you a muuseme.
Music resource website www.muuseme.com enlisted Daniel Genalo's talents in their latest web offering. Mr. Genalo played a variety of musicians in eight different archetypical band styles, including Glam Rock, Bossa Nova and Mariachi. The web spot is a comedic take on the various cliches associated with different styles of music, and is intended to be a tongue-in-cheek, improv-driven piece. Needless to say, Daniel was well cast for this and laughed so hard he started tearing up at one point.

Whirlwind finish to the Year 2009!
Daniel Genalo recently finished a nearly sold-out run with the New York Revels at beautiful, 756-seat Peter Norton Symphony Space. The next day, Daniel completed shooting his role as Austin PD Officer Jerry Day on Dr. G: Medical Examiner. After back-to-back productions, Daniel reflected on the year. In the last two months, Mr. Genalo appeared in significant roles on various high-profile projects, including 30 Rock, Cirque du Soleil, Dr. G, SAG feature film "The Human War," NY Revels at Symphony Space, and commercials for Audi and The Food Network. Daniel would like to thank all who helped him achieve this much!

Prince George to gallop through Symphony Space
Daniel Genalo played an English ship crewman in a production by the New York Revels this December. The Christmas Revels: an Irish Celebration of the Winter Solstice will run on the 756 seat mainstage at Peter Norton Symphony Space December 11-13, 2009. The show chronicles the journey of a number of immigrants on a ship from Ireland to the United States. Daniel worked the deck, did some traditional English and Irish folk dancing, and even put on a special Mummer's Play, as an upper class Englishman named Prince George.

Officer Jerry Day nabs a sniper in Austin, Texas
Daniel is set to play Officer Jerry Day in an upcoming episode of Dr. G: America's Most Shocking Cases. This true story took place August 1, 1968, when a 25 year old student at University of Texas - Austin, Charles Whitman, opened fire from a campus tower. Officer Jerry Day lead a small team of policeman, who took down the crazed young gunman and restored peace to the Austin, Texas community. More info comin

Danny G to "yo, yo yo" his way to Youngstown, Ohio
Daniel Genalo will play Louis in the upcoming SAG feature "The Human War." This story is based on the novella of the same name, written by Noah Cicero. Daniel's character Louis, is a short order cook in a local restaurant, as well as a child of the hip-hop generation with pipe dreams of elevating himself from his lower class status. Principal photography set to begin November 30th, 2009 in Youngstown, Ohio.

Daniel introduces the new cast member on 30 Rock!
Daniel appeared in 3 scenes on the show named Best Comedy 3 years in a row at the Emmy Awards. 30 Rock's "Audition Day" episode aired on NBC November 5, 2009. Daniel introduced the newest cast member to the "TGS" show, the Robot Danny Baker! Watch Daniel play scenes with Alec Baldwin, Scott Adsit as well as a dance sequence. Superchef Daniel Genalo?
Mr. Genalo experience with movement and choreography, as well as cooking and kitchen duty for his mother's catering business, aided greatly in the production of the latest Food Network promo. Daniel tosses couscous and played with knives in the abstract and artistic Superchef spot, produced by 5050 Motion.

Do You Trust Your Audi Dealer?
Daniel played the husband, new father, and potential Audi Q5 owner in a spot for Danbury Audi. The concept of "Trust" was created by Connecticut ad agency Milk, and the production was carried out by the New York Based 24fps Productions. The ad currently runs in Connecticut and New York.

Daniel and Cirque du Soleil promote global water resources!
Daniel was cast in a dance show collaboration between Cirque du Soleil and One Drop Foundation. Guy Laliberté, founder of Cirque du Soleil, helped create this mission for his company's 25th Anniversary. The objective of the project is "to make an impact on how water, our most precious resource, is protected and shared." As a performer in the New York cast, Daniel performed along with a host of other dancers in Times Square under the evening sky, just after Shakira read a poem as an introduction to the show.
